Arlen Reynolds

Operating Executive

Arlen Reynolds, operating executive at FOCUS Search Partners since 2010, has more than 30 years of experience leading acute care hospitals and systems. He also has served as a private investor and strategic advisor to healthcare growth companies.

In addition to his role with FOCUS Search Partners, Arlen is a consultant to McKinsey and Company’s Washington, DC, office.

Prior to joining FOCUS Search Partners, Arlen was COO and interim president and CEO of Centura Health System, a 12-hospital system based in Denver, Colorado, focused on home health, hospice and long-term care. During this time, Arlen also was chairman of the board for Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver.

In 1995, Arlen founded the institutional pharmacy company TeamCare, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grancare. He grew the company into the second-largest institutional pharmacy company in the country with operations in 32 states. TeamCare was listed on the New York Stock Exchange two years later, at which time Arlen retired from the company.

• Aquamatrix, a manufacturer of hydrogel (chairman)
• The Hawthorn Group, a public affairs company in Washington DC
• GE Healthcare Regional Board for the Western USA
• HealthMont, a rural hospital company, which later merged into publicly-traded Sunlink (founding member)
• Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL (two years as chairman)
• Greystone Pharmaceuticals (chairman)
• The national Susan G. Komen Foundation

He is a graduate of Purdue University.
